1st Place, Poster Competition, Soils Science Society of America Nov 2022
Awarded first place in the Soil Health Community Student Competition at the Soil Science Society of America Annual Meeting at Salt Lake City for my poster “Improving Soil Health through Sustainable Practices in Rice-Wheat Systems in the Indo-Gangetic Plain”.
Jaya Iyer Award, Department of Soil Science, UW Madison (Spring 2016)
The Jaya Iyer Award is offered to the winning seminar presentation presented by the department’s graduate students. The winning seminar is chosen by the review committee based on their personal assessment and audience feedback. I shared the award amount of $1000 for my presentation “The ‘Neem’ way to a more sustainable agricultural practice: Neem coated urea.”
Congressional Visits Day
An opportunity for selected ASA, CSSA and SSSA members to engage with Capitol Hill and show the value and impact of research funding.
Participants recieve policy, communication, and advocacy training to prepare you to effectively work with members of Congress and their staff.
